INTRO TO OIL PAINTING

Have you been curious about oil painting but aren’t sure where to start? You’re in the right place! In this 4 week class you’ll learn about oil painting materials, studio safety, the basics of color and value, blending and texture techniques, and how to create impactful compositions. Each session will include skill-building exercises, a short demo, and time to paint.

By the end of the course, participants will: know what materials they need for oil painting and how to use them, basic oil painting techniques, and foundations in color, value, and composition.

Best for those who: have little or no oil painting experience. All ages are welcome!
