First Annual Colorado Plein Air Show

at Wilderness Art Quarry

Join us for a day of live artwork and creative community on August 31st from 10am-7pm at Wilderness Art Quarry to celebrate the opening of our First Annual Colorado Plein Air Show!

Enjoy coffee, music, and watch artists create live as they partake in a timed competition. Then be the first to view the work in our Colorado Plein Air Show which includes work by local Colorado artists, all created on-location throughout Colorado.

August 31st event schedule:

• 10am-12:30pm - Live art

• 4-4:45pm - Learn about Plein Air by the talented artist and juror, Jeanne Mackenzie

• 5-7pm - Opening Reception

• 5:30pm - Awards presentation

• Exhibition Aug 31st - Sept 14th, 2025
