Have you always wanted to try oil painting but don’t know where to start or want to buy all the supplies? Come experience oil painting at Wilderness Art Quarry! All materials are provided, just bring your creativity! The session will be led by WAQ Artist, Alley Kocinski, and will begin with an overview of the materials and instruction on how to start painting with oils. The majority of the session will consist of free time for you to paint. Bring your own reference photo, use one of Alley’s provided reference images, or use your imagination and create whatever you want! Alley will offer guidance and answer any questions you have while you paint.

Note: this class focuses on exploring the medium itself, not advancing painting techniques. To improve your painting skills, check out Alley’s other oil painting classes.

Best for those who: have never used oil paint. All ages welcome!
